Since I was in a hurry I chose the option to view it online. I then searched it for any late payments. The first thing I did was dispute any medical bills listed as late. My brother works in the medical billing field, he told me they don’t have enough time to respond to credit bureaus to confirm late payments. I then went on to dispute all other late payments.
My objective was to dispute all late payments. The burden of proof is on the creditor to confirm there information. Most of time they will not do it in time or at all. Either way will accomplish our goal.
The key to getting items removed is to properly dispute them. I will go into this some more later. Write letters giving all important information regarding which accounts you want to dispute. the credit bureaus have 30 days to confirm the information. If they have not confirmed the items they must be removed.
according to consumer law you are entitled to receive a credit report from the credit bureaus with any corrections.
